I’m Toot, the Timber part of Timber and Twine. I am a fine woodworker, builder and (my family would say) fixer of all things. Here in my part of the website I want to share a little about myself and introduce you to my work.

I was a middle school shop teacher for over 30 years. I loved teaching and sharing my love of woodworking, with my students. I retired a few years ago and the list of things TeDi wanted me to make was waiting for me! Since then, a lot of my creative time is spend creating and making fiber tools for TeDi and the greater fiber community. One of my greatest joys is to find a gorgeous piece of wood and make something unique with it. I hope to do more of that work while keeping up with the fiber tools in the coming year.
