Where Colors Meet: Single & Double Clasped Weft on the Little Loom

$110.00

A full-day weaving workshop

There is a moment in clasped weft weaving when two colors reach toward each other across the warp and catch — a quiet, precise handshake in the middle of the cloth. What happens at that meeting point is entirely up to you. A sharp transition. A soft blend. A dancing, irregular line that follows no ruler.

In this full-day, hands-on workshop, we'll explore both single and double clasped weft on the Little Loom, a small, beautifully crafted tapestry loom made right here on the farm by Toot. You'll learn to warp, work the clasp in both variations, and develop an intuition for where the join wants to live in your piece.

The yarns are part of the experience, a mix of botanical immersion and bundle dye, for solid and multicolored options, that carry the quiet depth that only plant color gives.

The emphasis is open exploration. No pattern to follow, no prescribed image — just you, your color instincts, and two or three wefts finding each other in the warp. You'll leave with a sample that includes both techniques and the foundation to keep going.

All yarn, materials and use of a little loom included in the supply fee. Little Looms sets will available for purchase at the end of class for $85

Supply Fee - $45 to be paid to the instructor at the workshop
