S2S Mini Skeins — Shetland Sport Weight
Naturally grey Shetland sport weight yarn, hand-dyed over the natural shades of the sheep.
This wool comes from my friend Janice's flock at Valley View Farm in Cheney, WA — her decades of careful breeding work, spun into a yarn worth building on. I dyed it over with red onion skin, lac, coreopsis, and madder, and let each grey base do what it does: turn botanical color into something deeper. The madder alone gave three different stories — cinnamon, coral, and terra cotta.
25 yards each. Enough for stripes, colorwork accents, and small weavings.
