This is Janice's Shetland sport weight from Valley View Farm in Cheney, WA — naturally grey, hand-dyed here with red onion skin, lac, coreopsis, and madder. The greys pulled the color into gemtones. Madder alone gave cinnamon, coral, and terracotta, all from the same dye pot, all different because the wool underneath was a different shade.
