Rabbitbrush botanical dye stuff

$12.50

Rabbitbrush dyestuff - 50g

Rabbitbrush grows native on our farm. I harvest at the peak of blossom and dry it in the shade of our barn with a little cross breeze.

50g of Rabbitbrush is a good amount of dye stuff for a 100g of yarn, fiber or fabric. Botanical dyes require treating your yarn/fiber with a mordant so that the dye adheres to the fiber.

Flower tops and some stem are included. I put it all in the pot for dyeing.

The pictured scarf is silk. It was dyed with a variety of other scarves at 100g weight of fiber to 50g rabbit brush. Scarf not included.
