An evening workshop — 2 hours
Ready to fall down another Rabbit Hole ? We have just the workshop for you! This workshop has its basis in weaving, cutting strips of paper to create a couple of projects translating your existing weaving skill to a new medium. Any weave structure is possible - no loom is required and we'll take a look tabby, twill and a simple overlap patterns. But wait there's more........being a Natural Dyer, my latest Rabbit Hole, has been creating water colors from Botanical sources. Time does not permit us to complete this process, but we will be using watercolors I have prepared for you and will discuss the method to harvest color for paint from plants. Come curious. Leave inspired.
Open to all — a basic understanding of weaving is helpful but not required.
If you have a rotary cutter, or paper cutter, please bring it along. All papers, paints, brushes, and other necessary supplies including a frame for your finished piece are included in the supply fee.
Supply Fee: $30 to be paid to the instructor at the workshop
