From Art Batt to Wrap

$70.00

A half-day felting workshop

Art batts are known for their color, texture and irresistible combination of fibers — but did you know you can felt one into a finished, wearable piece? In this half-day workshop, Erika — beloved in the fiber community for her stunning art batts — will show you how.

You'll learn the techniques of cobweb felting, a method that produces surprisingly fine, lightweight fabric from loose fiber. Working with one of Erika's own batts, you'll lay out your fiber, coax it through the stages of felting, and finish the day with a wrap or shawlette that's entirely your own.

All art batts and felting tools provided. No prior felting experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to get your hands wet.

Supply Fee $30 to be paid to the instructor at the workshop

Friday July 24 from 1:00-4:00 pm

Instructor - Erika Lindgren
