Botanically Dyed Rayon & Linen Yarn (50 yds)

$5.00

This beautifully iridescent rayon and linen yarn shimmers with botanical hues, of logwood, sappanwood, logwood with iron, and yellow onion skins. The blend of fibers makes for both a soft and lusterous yarn. Perfect for weaving, embroidery, crochet and decorative stitching.

The plant dyestuffs are slow heated over several days to take advantage of gently coaxing the color from the plants. Next the solids are strained and the fiber is introduced and slow heated again.
