Beginning Spinning
Learn to spin your own yarn! This class teaches you how spinning wheels work and how to use them. You will learn the basics of spinning and plying yarn, including how to select spinning fiber.
Experience Level: Beginner
What you need to bring: Patience. A spinning wheel and at least 3 bobbins
Materials cost: Materials fee: $20. If you don’t have a spinning wheel, there will be a few available to rent for $10.
Class schedule: Saturday July 26 1-5
This is an extended half day class (4 hours). You are welcome to join us for lunch beforehand. We offer a box lunch option or you can bring your own if you would like to join us for lunch (12-1). Look for the lunch listing with the rest of the workshops here.
