A Year of Botanical Dyeing Silk Scarves - Medium

$30.00

At the beginning of the year I mordant a bunch of scarves. Over the course of the year when I teach a class or have a pot of dye that isn’t exhausted, I grab a scarf, and put it in the pot. Sometimes I will create a design by pinching the fabric with clothes pins. Each one tells a chapter in my year of dyeing. No two are alike. All are dyed with plants and/or bug dyes from my studio or my garden.

These scarves are warm without being bulky, perfect underneath a coat. They are also great for imaginative play, building forts…
